Ukrainian Refugee Emergency Appeal
to aid those who have arrived in Israel, in coordination with the Israeli Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption
The war in Ukraine has created a humanitarian crisis with over 2 million refugees running for their lives, half of them children!
The Israeli government and NGOs are providing urgent aid on the ground in the region and corridors to safety for those able to come to Israel.
The Jews fleeing to Israel are touching down at Ben Gurion with little more than the clothes on their backs, and they become the responsibility the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption.
The needs are enormous.
Moed is working in direct coordination with government agencies in Israel to provide for the immediate practical needs of these immigrants.
We continue to receive requests from these agencies for assistance and are working to offer help to these refugees while preserving their dignity.
We are turning to you to support this short term emergency initiative:

100% of donations made in this appeal will go to direct aid and support of these new Israeli immigrants from Ukraine.

Funds will address immediate critical needs as identified in coordination with the office of Aliyah and Absorption.

Aid will include the message in Ukrainian/Russian that frames this helping hand as coming from Jews who care and want to be of support at this time.
